What We Stand For
Our mission at NOYO is to create tropical resortwear pieces with our values at heart, for you to love for years to come. From our island home to yours, we are proud to share with you our collections inspired by the beauty and vibrancy of the Caribbean.
Our umbrella nonprofit, Bequia Threadworks, was founded to empower women within our community through ethical, long-term employment. With higher household incomes, our team of women artisans are better able to provide for their families and themselves beyond the basics while becoming role models for the next generation of creatives. On Bequia, education is limited and employment unstable. Our vision is to help break this cycle of economic scarcity, creating more financial freedom so more women and families can truly thrive.
BEHIND THE NAME
'NOYO'
The name - NOYO - is derived from the Noyau vine which is found in the Caribbean and means 'core' or 'seed'. This reminds us that although everything starts small, when nurtured well, can grow, flourish and become fruitful season after season.

Bequia Threadworks
NOYO is a resortwear brand led by an all-woman team at Bequia Threadworks, a nonprofit based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. We offer well-paid, stable employment in a safe workspace with access to skills training and career progression.
It is our proud mission to support the latent talent within our community, so that Bequia can shine and the potential of every individual within our business can be unlocked and nurtured to its fullest potential.
